What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at FM 281 in Hartley County, TX on October 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened as a Mack truck headed westbound. Police say a Volvo semi-truck turning out of a private drive to head eastbound on FM 281 at the same time, the two vehicles colliding as a result. Officials say  one driver involved, identified as 31-year-old Jesus Castillo-Rosas, was fatally injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly treated at the scene. Additional inforamtion was not available.
