What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at FM 546 and Lowry Crossing near McKinney, TX on April 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. According to investigators, an eastbound 18-wheeler is said to have lost control while rounding a curve in the roadway at FM 546. The truck is alleged to have struck an Audi and Lexus, the collision leaving the driver of the Audi, identified as 43-year-old Jesus Imatzu,  fatally injured at the scene. Reports say the 18-wheeler operator and an occupant of the Lexus both had injuries considered to be minor in nature. Additional information was not provided.
