What Happened

Police are investigating a cash that killed a driver at I-35 in San Marcos, TX on August 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:41 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Xterra headed northbound on I-35 is said to have veered from the road for unclear reasons, striking nearby utility pole. From there, reports say the vehicle continued travel into a concrete culver before overturning into a second utility pole and through a fence, ejecting the driver. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Jillian Bradley, was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. Police did not have any additional information available.
