What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 67 in Comanche County, TX on June 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford pickup truck is alleged to have attempted passing a Nissan pickup truck, entering into an opposite lane. They say in the process, a collision involving both vehicles and three motorcycles followed. One motorcyclist, identified as 56-year-old Steven Stuart, was killed. Also killed was the driver of the Nissan, 78-year-old Jimmy Crosson. Both other motorcyclists were hospitalized. Police say the Ford operator fled the scene of the crash.
