Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at FM 281 near Etter, TX on January 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. Authorities say a Toyota Avalon headed eastbound on FM 281 allegedly lost control for unknown reasons, traveling across a westbound lane into a north ditch. From there, police say the vehicle attempted to return to the road before overturning, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver, identified as 82-year-old Jimmy Lamb, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
