Area authorities have identified the person killed in a four-vehicle crash at State Hwy 302 near Kermit, TX on August 2nd, 2022. They say the incident happened as a Ford F-250 operated by 64-year-old Jimmy Paul Walker was headed eastbound on Hwy 302. Investigators are saying the Ford veered into a westbound lane, striking a Ford F-350 before Walker's vehicle was struck by a Dodge Ram attempting evasive action to avoid a collision. Walker's vehicle is said to have also collided with a truck tractor as well, leaving Walker with fatal injuries at the scene. The drivers of the other vehicles were reportedly unharmed.
