What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at TX 15 in Hansford County, TX on February 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:50 p.m. According to police a vehicle operated by 30-year-old Joani Ortiz-Carrazco was headed eastbound when it lost control at a curve. It then went into a skid when attempting to correct back onto the road before overturning several times. Ortiz-Carrazco was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Three passengers, two who were identified as 47-year-old Raul Carrazco and 31-year-old Daniela Guardiola, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
