Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Lee Rd in Harris County, TX on July 28th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 8:41 p.m. Investigators believe a vehicle, possibly a Dodge Challenger, struck an individual in or near the roadway before leaving the scene. The individual, identified as Joanie Ledesma, was struck and knocked into a nearby ditch, suffering injuries that were fatal.
