Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-410 in San Antonio, TX on May 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 49-year-old Joe Garza was headed westbound before allegedly attempting a lane change. In the process, the vehicle collided with a bridge support railing, causing it to lose control. The vehicle veered back into a lane of travel before striking the railing once more and traveling up and over the railing. The vehicle landed in a river bed embankment and the impact left Garza with fatal injuries at the scene. Additional details have not been made available.
