What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at FM 570 in Eastland, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:51 p.m. A motorcycle operated by 43-year-old Joe Shawn Hollander lost control while attempting to brake after a commercial truck exiting a parking lot failed to yield. The bike slid and caused Hollander serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured and was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.
