What Happened

San Antonio Police are looking into a crash that killed a motorcyclist at SW Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Rd in San Antonio, TX on January 17th, 2022. Police say it happened around 2:40 a.m. when a motorcycle collided with a TxDOT vehicle on the side of the road. Investigators say the TxDOT vehicle was at the scene of a previous accident at the time and the cyclist was allegedly suspected of being intoxicated at the time. The  59-year-old cyclist, identified as Joe Tenerias, died at the scene. Additional information was not provided.
