Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 49-year-old Tooele, UT man reportedly failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a group of vehicles stopped in traffic. The impact caused a chain reaction collision involving multiple vehicles. 46-year-old Joel Garay suffered serious injuries. The Tooele man was charged with Failure to Control Speed.
