What Happened

Authorities in Ward County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on March 7, 2025, at approximately 5:39 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 18 and State Loop 464. Investigators are saying a Chevrolet Tahoe  allegedly failed to yield while turning left and collided with a northbound Acura TSX. The 45-year-old driver of the Acura, identified as Johanna Corrado, sustained fatal injuries. The 45-year-old driver of the Tahoe, who was not publicly identified, sustained minor injuries and was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Additional information was not available.
