Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two men at State Hwy 62 in Jasper County, TX on September 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Traverse headed southbound is alleged to have crossed into a northbound lane for unknown reasons before colliding head-on with a Ford F-150. Authorities say the driver of the Traverse, identified as 20-year-old James Duke and 33-year-old Ford operator, John Andel, were both fatally injured.
