What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist at Wegner Rd in Comal County, TX on December 10th, 2023. Police say 52-year-old John Caillouette Jr was traveling via bicycle headed northwest on Wegner Rd at the time. A vehicle of an unknown make or model is said to have struck Caillouette before fleeing the scene. Caillouette suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Authorities were not able to provide a possible time for when the incident occurred.
