State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-40 in Johnson County, TX on January 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:59 a.m. A tractor-trailer was said to be headed eastbound on I-40 while a Toyota Scion operated by 45-year-old John Chunn Jr was headed eastbound in the right lane. The Toyota is said to have crossed over and over-corrected, colliding with a guardrail before crossing the eastbound lanes and crashing with the tractor-trailer, causing Chunn fatal injuries.
