Police say the incident happened around 10:37 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Wagoneer operated by a 21-year-old San Antonio man had been headed eastbound prior to performing a lane change. The vehicle ended up colliding with a Mazda Tribute operated by 37-year-old John Falcon Cruz. While Cruz suffered possible injuries, two passengers had suspected serious injuries. The Jeep operator was not injured, according to police.
