Police say the incident happened around 11:59 p.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen sedan operated by 31-year-old James Jenkins was headed southbound on I-35 before colliding with the rear of a Hyundai sedan stopped on a shoulder. the impact caused the Hyundai to veer into a median and the Volkswagen to overturn.
