What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-410 in San Antonio, TX on July 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:21 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 67-year-old Von Ormy man reportedly veered partially into a lane occupied by a Mazda 3 in order to perform a turn into a private lot. The truck sideswiped the Mazda, which was being operated by 56-year-old John Gonzalez, in the process. Gonzalez suffered minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
