Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 80 in Karnes County, TX on February 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:15 a.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 41-year-old San Juan, TX man was headed northbound on Hwy 80 when it began a slow left turn onto County Rd 305. Police say the truck was struck by a Chevrolet 3500 that flailed to control its speed during the turn. The driver, 28-year-old John Ramon Castro, suffered serious injuries.
