Police say the incident happened around 7:32 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 42-year-old John Roohana III was headed eastbound as a Toyota Venza was stopped in a westbound left turn lane ahead. Reports allege the Toyota failed to yield right of way before turning onto Fern Lacy Driver, traveling into the path of the approaching motorcycle. The two vehicles collided, reports say, ejecting both Roohana and his 15-year-old passenger from the vehicle. Roohana suffered fatal injuries in the incident while his passenger was seriously injured, according to reports. The 17-year-0ld driver of the Toyota had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening and her two passengers were allegedly uninjured, police say. Additional information was not available.
