Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 289 in Grayson County, TX on April 15th, 2023. Police say the incident 6:20 p.m. Officials say a Harley-Davidson FLHR operated by 46-year-old John Spillers was headed southbound, approaching a Jeep Wrangler in a no pass zone. Authorities allege the motorcycle was passing the Jeep when the Jeep began to turn east onto Pecan Valley. In the process, the motorcycle collided with the Jeep, leaving Spillers with injuries believed to be serious in nature. The other driver, a 19-year-old male who was not identified, was not injured.
