Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 69 in Leonard, TX on August 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:49 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 headed northbound is said to have lost control while passing vehicles in a no pass zone. Source say as a Ford Scape crested a hill, approaching from the opposite direction, the two vehicles collided. The impact left 36-year-old Ford operator, Johnathan Standerfer, fatally injured.
