What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-20 in Reeves County, TX on November 19th, 2022. Police say it happened when a westbound commercial truck operated by 65-year-old Johnny Leeallen Triplett was involved in a rear-end collision with a second commercial truck. Police say the second truck was stopped in a right-hand travel lane as a result of traffic in the area, around 4 p.m. Triplett suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The condition of the other driver was not known.
