What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-10 in San Antonio, TX in April 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. According to police a Toyota Corolla was in a left lane when an adjacent 18-wheeler suffered a tire blow out. It then swerved left and collided with the Toyota, causing it to crash into a concrete barrier and caught fire. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 55-year-old Johnny Rodriguez Jr, suffered fatal injuries. A Jeep Latitude involved in the crash caused its driver non-life-threatening injuries.
