Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  John Day Rd in Denton County, TX on July 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:32 p.m. According to investigators, a BMW z4 operated by 39-year-old Jomark Sepulveda was headed westbound on John Day Rd at an alleged high rate of speed when it veered from the road into a ditch and struck a tree. Sepulveda required emergency extrication from the vehicle and was hospitalized with serious injuries. A 24-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
