Area authorities have information in a collision that kills da driver at FM 916 in Johnson County, TX on May 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. Investigators are saying a Ford Focus operated by 52-year-old Jon Albright was headed eastbound on FM 916. At the same time, a flatbed truck operated by 49-year-old Gary Ahrens was traveling westbound. The vehicle was slowing to perform a left turn when the Ford allegedly veered into its lane and collided with the truck. The collision left Albright with fatal injuries. Police say Ahrens was not injured. Additional information was not made available.
