What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Westpark and Fondren Rd in Houston, TX on August 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. According to investigators, a Ram 1500 was headed northbound while a Chevrolet HHR was eastbound at Westpark Rd. Reports claim the Ram collided with the Ram, causing the Ram to collide with a nearby Toyota Camry. Officials say one vehicle involved may have a run a red light. The driver of the Chevrolet HHR, identified as 31-year-old Jonatan Ramos Merito, was seriously injured. A 29-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified,  was also seriously inured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
