Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Beaumont, TX on August 13th, 2021. Police say it happened around 10:36 p.m. A Dodge Ram 3500 operated by 24-year-old Jonathan Constance was headed southbound in an outside lane of traffic as it approached a tractor-trailer ahead in slowing traffic. The Dodge reportedly failed to control its speed and moved to an inside line, colliding with the rear of the tractor-trailer. Constance suffered serious injuries in the collision and was cited for Failure to Control Speed.
