What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teen at Hwy 3 in Dickinson, TX on July 1st, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a Ford F-150 operated by 24-year-old Kelsey Carson collided with 18-year-old Jonathan Ibarra as we was walking on the highway. Ibarra suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police arrested Carson and charged her with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle after she allegedly showed signs of intoxication at the scene.
