Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a man at  US Hwy 77 in Kingsville, TX on September 28th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a trailer detaching from a northbound pickup truck. The trailer crossed a median into southbound lanes, colliding with a Ford F-150 operated by 46-year-old Jonathan Limas. The Ford lost control and struck a metal crash barrier before overturning, ejecting Limas from the vehicle. He suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Investigators say that the other driver stopped briefly before fleeing the scene without rendering aid. Additional information is not currently available.
