Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at FM 2465 in Childress County, TX on January 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:28 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by an unnamed 64-year-old New Mexico man was headed northbound on US 62. At the same time, a GMC Yukon operated by 38-year-old Jonna Parr was headed southbound. Officials allege the Ford was attempting a left turn onto FM 2465, turning into the path of the GMC. The two vehicles collided, leaving Parr and a passenger, 40-year-old Jonathan Parr, with minor injuries. Two child passengers also had minor injuries. The New Mexico man also had minor injuries and officers recommended an intoxication assault charge.
