Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Windhaven Pkwy in The Colony, TX on June 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:28 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Fe was westbound on Windhaven Pkwy before allegedly failing to yield right of way to eastbound traffic. Reports say the vehicle pulled into the path of an eastbound Dodge Charger, the two vehicles colliding as a result. The impact is said to have caused the Dodge to overturn and strike a nearby Nissan Altima, leaving 24-year-old Dodge operator, Jordan Copeland, seriously injured. Reports say the Nissan operator was uninjured while the Hyundai operator had possible, unconfirmed injuries and was charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available.
