North Richland Hills Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Airport Freeway in North Richland Hills, TX on September 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:17 a.m. Authorities allege a motorcycle may have been attempting to pass an 18-wheeler in a shoulder before approaching three vehicles involved in a previous crash. While attempting to re-enter traffic, officials say the motorcycle struck part of the 18-wheeler, leaving the motorcyclist with fatal injuries at the scene. The cyclist was identified as  20-year-old Jordan Jesus Socorro Villegas. There were no other reported injuries. Additional information was not available.
