Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 35 in Hunt County, TX on June 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:08 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra was northbound on FM 35 at the time. The vehicle is alleged to have been traveling northbound in southbound lanes before colliding with a Ford Mustang operated by 21-year-old Jordan Sherman. Following the collision, the GMC is alleged to have fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Shaman had serious injuries, according to officials. The GMC operator, a 21-year-old Dallas man who was not publicly identified, was later located and a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
