What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35E in Hickory Creek, TX on January 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:23 a.m. Investigators say a Kia Optima operated by 30-year-old Jordan Taylor was headed southbound, allegedly at a high rate of s speed, when it lost control and struck the rear left corner of a Chevrolet Silverado stopped on the right shoulder. Taylor was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and suffered serious injuries. The occupants of the Silverado were not injured.
