Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at Mile 15 in Hidalgo County, TX on April 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 23-year-old Jorge Juarez Martinez was headed southbound on Mile 4 when it may have failed to yield at the intersection with Mile 4 West. The vehicle ended up colliding with a GMC Sierra operated by a 42-year-old Elsa man. The crash left the Elsa man and a child passenger in the Malibu with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
