Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at McConnell Rd in Atascosa County, TX on May 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Accent operated by 41-year-old Jorge Rios was headed southbound on McConnell prior to veering from the road  for unclear reasons.s The vehicle went into a ditch where it hit a pole before spinning and ejecting Rios from the vehicle. Rios was taken to an area hospital with injuries believed to be serious in nature. Not other injuries were reported.
