What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 720 in Little Elm, TX on June 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Expedition operated by 30-year-old Jose Buenrostro Resendiz was reportedly attempting to turn northbound on Oak Grove Parkway at a flashing yellow arrow. A second vehicle, operated by Ford F-250 operated by 20-year-old Tavian Mohair was reportedly speeding in the westbound lanes of Eldorado Parkway when it collided with the Ford, which investigators allege failed to yield. Resendiz suffered serious injuries. Mohair was not injured and reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
