Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at FM 2812 in Hidalgo County, TX on October 20th, 2024. Police believe the incident happened around 7 p.m. Investigators are saying a Ford F-150, allegedly operated by a driver under the influence of alcohol, failed to yield before turning ahead of a westbound Dodge Ram 1500. Officials say the vehicles collided, the impact seriously injuring 50-year-old Ford passenger, Jose Cabrera. Both drivers, neither publicly identified, allegedly may have been injured. The driver of the Ford was allegedly charged with Intoxication Assault.
