What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Sealy, TX on March 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:51 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 70-year-old Magnolia man was headed eastbound on I-10 with a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 60-year-old Jose Guillermo Casellanos traveling ahead. Police say the Chevrolet braked to avoid colliding with a disabled vehicle ahead and the truck, which investigators believe was following too closely, collided with the rear of the Chevrolet. Castellanos suffered minor injuries. A passenger, 52-year-old Martina Castellanos, suffered possible injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
