Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at La Pita Mangana Rd in Laredo, TX on March 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:04 p.m. According to investigators, a southbound Chevrolet Camaro is alleged to have failed to yield right-of-way from a stop sign before nearly colliding with a westbound vehicle during a tun. The westbound vehicle is said to have performed a faulty evasive action to avoid a collision, sending the vehicle into the backyard of a nearby private residence where it collided with 51-year-old Jose Lopez.  Lopez was stuck and pinned beneath vehicle, suffering serious injuries. Authorities did not provide additional details.
