Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Hwy 259 and FM 850 in Rusk County, TX on March 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Mack truck operated by a a 45-year-old Tyler man was headed southbound, approaching a stop sign at the intersection with FM 850. Police say the vehicle collided with a second vehicle that allegedly missed the posted stop sign. 42-year-old Jose Manuel Robles suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The Tyler man had minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
