What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at Glasscock Rd in Palmhurst, TX on December 14th, 2022. Police believe the incident happened around 10:41 p.m. According to investigators, the crash involved a Ford Focus and Chevrolet Colorado. Officials say the Ford, operated by an unnamed 29-year-old Mission, TX man, was southbound behind the Chevrolet. The Ford allegedly failed to control its speed and collided with Chevrolet. The impact caused the Chevrolet to lost control and veer from the road before overturning. The driver, identified as 82-year-old Jose Perez Alanis, was seriously injured. The other driver had minor injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against the Mission man.
