Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at I-35 in Hill County, TX on October 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:39 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 23-year-old Ferris, TX man reportedly failed to yield right of way at the intersection for US 77 and pulled out into the path of a Dodge Ram operated by 42-year-old Jose Sanchez. The vehicles collided and Sanchez suffered serious injuries. The Ferris man was not injured and was charged with Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection and Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle with Suspended License.
