What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-45 in Dallas, TX on June 18th, 2022. Police are saying the incident happened around 2:27 a.m. Investigators are saying a Volkswagen Passat operated by 48-year-old Kisha Evans was headed eastbound on Metropolitan Ave as a motorcycle operated by 45-year-old Joseph Hyde traveled southbound on the I-45 service road.  As the Passat approached a posted stop sign at the intersection, it allegedly failed to yield right-of-way and turned, crossing into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the rear of the vehicle, ejecting Hyde from the vehicle and causing serious injuries. Evans, who is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, was, according to reports, not injured. Reports also show a No Valid Texas Driver License charge was recommend and/or issued against Evans.
