What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Loop 375 in El Paso, TX on July 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:18 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord is said to have been rear ended by a Chevrolet Astro Van. Following the collision, the van spun into the opposite direction, colliding head-on with a Nissan Titan. Police say the drivers of all three vehicles were hospitalized and one died. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Joseph Isaac Ayala. The injured drivers were identified as 32-year-old Victoria Marquez and 32-year-old Alfredo Villarreal.
