Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured two people at US 87 in Dalhart, TX on January 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:39 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 70-year-old Mansfield man is said to have disregarded a red light at the intersection with Hwy 54 and collided with a Ford F-Series truck operated by 84-year-old Joseph John Wesley. Wesley and his passenger, 70-year-old Ruth Kay Wesley, suffered minor injuries in the crash. The truck driver was not injured and issued a Disregarding Stop Light charge.
