Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1101 in Comal County, TX on June 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:03 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Highlander operated by 70-year-old Joseph Ralph Tidwell was headed northbound at the time. The vehicle at some point is alleged to have crossed into a southbound lane before colliding head-on with a tractor-trailer operated by a 45-year-old Killeen man.
