Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 19 in Walker County, TX on June 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:26 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC truck operated by 67-year-old Huntsville, TX man was changing lanes when it veered into a lane occupied by a Nissan Murano operated by 71-year-old Joseph Randall Harrott. Harrott and a passenger, 58-year-old Kathleen Harrott, suffered serious injuries. The other driver was evaluated for possible injuries and reports indicate License or Permit Requires, Changing Lanes When Unsafe and Operation of Vehicle With Expired License Plate charges were recommended and/or issued.
